Sudama

Sudama, a poor Brahmin, sets out to visit his childhood friend Krishna, now king of Dwarka, carrying nothing but a humble gift of flattened rice wrapped in cloth. Krishna welcomes him as an equal and washes his feet with his own hands, a story that has become India's enduring symbol of true friendship, unspoiled by wealth or status.
