Billoo Goes Fishing is a Diamond Toons comic featuring Billoo, created by legendary Indian cartoonist Pran Kumar Sharma. A quick, funny read for kids, part of one of India's longest-running comic franchises.
About the Creator
Maurice Horn, editor of the World Encyclopaedia of Comics, described cartoonist Pran as the Walt Disney of India. Entertaining generation after generation, his comics have been a constant companion for growing youngsters, providing fun through famous characters like Chacha Chaudhary, Sabu, Shrimatiji, Pinki, Billoo and Raman. More than 600 of his titles have sold in the market, and his comic strips regularly appear in newspapers across India. His Chacha Chaudhary comics were adapted into a TV serial that ran for over 600 episodes on a premier channel. He was honoured with the 'People of the Year' award by the Limca Book of Records for popularizing comics.
